Family Youth Interventions Rapid Re-Housing (RRH) program is a HUD funded program. FYI’s RRH program is a scatted site apartment program, housing young adults ages 18-24. There are up to seven apartments available at a time, with three, two bedrooms apartments dedicated to housing young adults and their children. While involved in the program young adults will have access to many supportive services. RRH is a housing first program, this means we do our best to help young adults over come housing barriers (no income, criminal record, prior evictions etc.) and partner them with landlords to become housed and self-sufficient.

Eligibility is determinant for 18-24-year-old who meet the HUD definition of homelessness. This includes those who are: literally homeless (lacking fixed, regular, and adequate nighttime residents), in immanent Risk (those who will lose their primary nighttime residents within 14 days), or fleeing or attempting to flee domestic violence.

Young adults ages 18-24 who are homeless. Proof of homelessness is needed.
We can assist with rent for up to one year. We can also provide assistance with things like utilities and employment. The goal is for you to be self sufficient and remain housed, at the end of your time in the program.
You must find housing within Macomb County. Housing can consist of an apartment, mobile home, or a house through a private landlord.
Possibly. We are only allowed to pay so much of your rent based on Fair Market Rent HUD funding. If you have rent that costs more than the funding given, you are responsible for covering the remaining rent. If you are employed, you must pay 30% of your monthly income towards rent.
