The Transitional Living Program (TLP) provides safe, stable housing and comprehensive support for older teens and young adults who are homeless or at risk of homelessness. Funded by the Michigan Department of Human Services and the Family and Youth Services Bureau, TLP is fully licensed by the State of Michigan as a child care institution. Referrals are open to anyone.

This residential program accommodates up to six youth, ages 16–21, for stays of up to 18 months. Participants receive counseling, life skills training, and personalized guidance to transition from homelessness to self-sufficiency. During their stay, residents are required to pursue employment, continue their education, and engage in volunteer work. The application and interview process typically takes two to three weeks.
